$CAVE
Deep within the caverns beneath Eldur, the dragon miners toil away not for gold, but something far more precious. While merchants across Fyra Oyer are always happy to accept traditional coinage for their wares, a rarer item is prized above all others in exchanges: $CAVE!
Named after the strange markings found carved in the rock walls where this gem was first discovered (the symbol “$” scratched everywhere around it- what could it possibly mean??), $CAVE is a highly treasured form of currency.
Glittering a greenish glow in the sun and with a purplish hue against the moon’s glare, the miners that initially encountered this gem often gave it away only to those they deemed most worthy of such a dazzling prize. As its true brilliance has since become recognized far and wide, it has become some workers’ sole purpose in their excavation efforts.
