Trees of Silence

These trees grow amongst the desert wastelands of the Ravening and Barbaring. Should one make it through either of these treacherous areas to come upon such a tree at night, rumor has it that all noise ceases ominously, bringing about feelings of almost overwhelming loneliness. Some say it bears the coveted Silentwood, though the method of obtaining it is unknown, as most bark removed from the trees of silence turns instantly to dust.
