Chest of Roars

LAND: Dreka (mostly)

The Chest of Roars is a creature that walks the lands of Fyra Oyer, waiting for unlucky adventurers to discover them. They look exactly like shiny treasure chests, with legs and arms they can tuck away once finding a place to sit and wait for passersby to check them out. Many a dragon has lost a claw getting too close and reaching inside its open jaws (which look like the chest’s lid), thinking they’ve stumbled on some lucky loot. Drakon himself is said to have fallen victim to one of the Chest of Roars.
